Out of the Dark.

I've been thinking about writing this for a while but I've been so unsure of what to say, but the most important thing I want to say is thank you.


Thank you for listening to me when I thought no one else would.

Thank you for taking me seriously.

Thank you for helping me to think clearly when there was only one thing on my mind.

Thank you for helping me know that it is ok to tell someone that I was struggling.

Thank you for allowing me to take a step back.

Thank you for reassuring me that I would be able to get through this.

Thank you for giving me someone easy to talk to.

Thank you for showing me that I am worthy of help.

Thank you for making sure I was safe.

Thank you for encouraging me to tell someone that things were bad.

Thank you for telling me that things will get better.

I can barely remember what you said but...

Thank you for helping me to keep myself alive.
